ALL ABOUT ME…
My name is Janice Tucker. I have been teaching for 20 years. I have my master's plus 30 in elementary education with a minor in computer science. I have my endorsement in teaching of gifted and talented students from Converse College. I have taught 2nd - 8th grade in Greenville and Spartanburg County schools. I have been teaching science for the past 9 years. This will be my fifth year at Beech Springs and I love it. I grew up in Greenville, SC and graduated from Riverside High School. I then attended Anderson College and University of South Carolina at Spartanburg. Later I also attended Furman University and Converse College. I finished my master’s program at Converse College. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. I am married to a wonderful man, Joey. We have been married for 21 years. We have one daughter, a cat, and a dog. Waverly is 18 years old and is a Sophomore at Clemson University. Paisley, my very fat cat, was the ruler of the house but now has competition with our black Labrador, Tatum. She is 2 years old and a big baby.
In my spare time, I love to read on my deck and drink coffee! My daughter keeps me very busy in the summer on the tennis circuit. Joey and I love to play golf when we can squeeze it in, about once a year, on vacation. I love to experience new things and I am constantly learning. I look forward to a wonderful, exciting year with your child!
We can never learn enough...Let the fun begin!
